Harry Gwala District Municipality Hosts it’s Quarterly District Communicators Forum!

The Harry Gwala District Municipality held its quarterly District Communicators Forum (DCF) meeting on the 24th of June 2025. The meeting brought together local municipal communicators, its stakeholders and the district officials to discuss issues which are of common interest among all communicators and to ensure alignment with the three spheres of government.

The Deputy Mayor Cllr Tiny Nosisa Jojozi, thanked the members of the (District Communicators Forum) DCF for the invitation and emphasized the significance of communication in their work.

She stated, "With being in sphere of political offices, as political office bearers they relay very much on communications to represent their office as well the institution through the work that’s being done by Communicators. Requesting that as communicators, we must always represent factual and accurate information to the community, specially when quoting political leadership.

The Deputy Mayor Cllr Tiny Nosisa Jojozi also touched on the importance of the visibility of the South African Flag, pleading with all communicators to assist with instilling the love back for the South African flag to the community and individuals as a whole.
