Harry Gwala District Municipality Mayor Cllr. Zamo Nxumalo, wishes to congratulate Bongmusa Mthembu and Jenet Mbhele—both from the District—for being in the top 10 in the 2025 Comrades Marathon which finished in People’s Park Durban. Mthembu was congratulated for achieving 8th position in the 2025 Comrades; his time was 5 h 35 m 48 s, and Mbhele achieved 7th position in the females race; her time was 6 h 14 m 24 s.
